Knitknitknitknitknit

My interest in knitting has recently re-emerged with full force. Fueled by a mask project that I am working on for a new media installation studio (which I will at some point get more into) I started doing research on fiber arts and also groundbreaking knits in fashion. Here are some of the wonderful things that I found:

Some late 90's knitwear by Yohji Yamamoto. I love the asymmetrical sweaters and all the loose layers of knit with one fitted piece over them.

Weird gloves and a four-way sweater by Freddie Robbins.

"Blonde, brunette, and red-head" hair dresses by Emily Bates.

Great works by Ed Rossbach.

So after looking at these pieces as well as some other images, I feel pretty inspired to work on my own project and look at knitting from a different perspective, which is exciting!
